Malawi(Acting) - Dr Julius Mangisoni

Dr Mangisoni is a senior lecturer in Agricultural Economics at the University of Malawi. He holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Applied Economics (Natural Resources & Environmental Economics; Prices & Marketing; and Production Economics) from the University of Minnesota, USA. Previously Dr Mangisoni worked as an Economist in the Planning Division of the Ministry of Agriculture on sustainable livelihoods; baseline surveys; project planning, monitoring and evaluation; pricing and marketing; structural adjustment; economic policy analysis; food security and commodity studies. He has also worked as the National Coordinator of the Malawi Agricultural Sector Study, which focused on all facets of the agricultural industry in Malawi.
