Interns

The African Technology Policy Studies Network (ATPS) internship programme continues to offer pre-employment experience to various students from different learning institutions. The objective of this initiative is to help the student encounter, analyze and evaluate issues in their chosen occupations and also to acquire extensive professional experience.

Current and Recent Interns:  

Anthony Manyuru is an Intern at ATPS with the Research and Training department. At ATPS, he is responsible for reviewing and editing reports. In addition, he helps in data analysis and report writing. 

Anthony holds a B.A. degree in Economics from Middlebury College in the United States. Prior to joining ATPS in February 2012, Anthony worked at Creative Environmental Solutions in New York as an Analyst.

Anthony is currently pursuing an MBA at Daystar University. 

 

Adaeze Osisioma

Adaeze Uchenna Osisioma holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in Architecture from the University of Nigeria. She obtained an Executive Master of science in Organizational Development (EMOD) from the United States International University, Africa, which is situated in Nairobi. She has undergone many other formal and informal trainings including Diplome d’Etudes en Langue Francaise; Project Management Professional, Proficiency in Management, among others. She is a Peer Educator Trainer on HIV/AIDS and an OD consultant.

She has found affinity with trending youth issues and has written many articles. Some of her most recent write ups are titled:

  • The Effects Of  Employee Motivation On Job Performance
  • The Role Of Youth Empowerment In Africa’s Sustainable Development
  • Leadership Communication-A Personal Experiment
  • Senior Team Alignment-What Organizations Must Know

Additionally, she has reviewed and contributed to many other articles in climate change, trans-disciplinary research and capacity building efforts.

She was once the Chairman of Publicity and Sensitization at the House of Senate, University of Nigeria. Before joining ATPS as an intern, she was doubling as the Client Liaison Officer and the Executive Assistant to the Principal Consultant at the PHI Integrated Services Limited. As an Environment Serving Person, she loves community building exercises and have been involved in several CSR initiatives, testimonies to her successes abound.

She aspires to be a great mind consulted widely in Leadership and Development Issues towards making Africa sustainable and increasingly competitive.
